Namibia conjures up images of vast wilderness areas, stretches of red desert and unspoiled national parks. So what more of a reason could you need to visit this beautiful and fascinating country? For example Popa Falls with its rich bird life, Damaraland which is home to the rare desert elephant, Kaokoveld with its traditional Himba tribe village and Ruacana with its traditional local villages and spectacular waterfalls.

 

Namibia is also a very family friendly destination and there are many holidays in Namibia that cater to this market. Young children and teenagers alike will love seeing the country’s wildlife which includes elephants, wildebeest, zebra, hyenas, lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes and antelopes, and they can also participate in such exhilarating activities as desert safaris and sand boarding.
